Frankly, I hope the Russian PMCs are not winding down. This isn't over till it's over, and despite Trump's avowed desire to end the killing, I don't trust the US, EU, or NATO not to do something rash and off-the-charts stupid.

As Brian Berletic keeps saying, every US President follows the same orders, and US foreign policy is consistent throughout, irrespective of the nominal Head of State.

In any case, Russia maintains that Zelenskiy is illegitimate. The term for which he was elected has long since expired and therefore his signature on official documents is meaningless.

From what I read in the “mainstream media” (never reliable), Zelenskiy now wants to see what the security guarantees from Europe and the USA look like before he agrees to meet Putin. The Kremlin has stated that meeting Zelenskiy would only realistically occur in order to sign a Ukrainian capitulation agreement. In fact, why would Putin even entertain talking to Zelenskiy, knowing that Z has the IQ of a soap dish? Peace agreements are always initially negotiated by government diplomats and then signed off by heads of state. Nothing has yet been negotiated, nor agreed upon.

I am reading a book called TRACED by Nathaniel T. Jeanson. This a description of history through the human genetic world wide samples with comparison of languages as well.

I read Heinrich's article and his historical map of Ukraine. I find that fascinating when compared to Putin's history lesson that he gave to Tucker Carlson when interviewed by him.

Tracing genetic information back through time doesn't prove that you own anything. There is no pure blood. Putin won't stop till he gets to Kiev if the West won't back down.

John Lloyd Stephen's Travels to Turkey, Russia and Poland 1840 takes him to Odessa, Kiev, Moscow and St Petersburg, then to Poland. It is russians speaking russian everywhere, and as he could not speak polish he finds he can communicate in latin there as they are catholics.
