Trump is a fraud on all counts, and a narcissist. That is why he boasts about anything and everything he does, even if these achievements amount to nothing. He also is intellectually lazy, and therefore lacks an understanding of the situation he is engaged in, especially in the realm of politics and world affairs. He is totally dependent on the advice given to him by the reactionaries he appointed to office, and has no consistency: he is the quintessential " Flip Flop President"; in short, he is a bad leader. The Russians know that he is a fool, and flatter him to keep his ego afloat.

Unfortunatelly, I can see the same thing. To put it simply: Trump has criminal mindset. After all, Trump is the one who left American forces to ocupy Syrian oil fields and braging about stealing Syrian oil; Trump is the one who praises the terrorist headchopper Al Jolani; and Trump is the one who is facilitating the deliberate mass murder of Palestinian people by Israel. Trump is just another psychopathic criminal puppet of the Western empire.

The only good thing about Trump is that he is bragging about his crimes - I sincerely hope that people of the West will finally get the whole picture and see what this evil empire is all about and revolt. We MUST get rid of these psychos!

Yes, this is a consequence of being so well informed. Thanks to people like you. I have be watching interviews with Putin translated into English. What a contrast. We didn't have any choice. Had we elected the other side we might be closer to WW3. I still would prefer to be a US citizen with what is left of our constitutional rights. I suspect when the end comes for the USA it will be the result of ignorance and apathy.

It's one thing to pretend to understand Russia's side, it's another to then follow that thought through and realise just how insulted and maligned Russia must feel. I think an indignation that Russia won't accept the Wests 'magnanimity' to make peace is all we can expect, a genuine acknowledgement of Russia's side would mean coming to terms with just how measured, proportional, and forgiving (!!) Russia's responses have really been. That would create a cognitive dissonance that western leaders simply cannot process.

Thank you for saying what I have been saying for a while since Trump uttered that garbage statement knowing full well the war directly started because of what he did during his first presidential term, and people called me crazy and "oh, you're talking nonsense" "trump is a great guy!" "Trump is a dealmaker and businessman" and the consensus of the foolish and damned are still delusional about who this serial liar, conman is. He took money from Pakistan, they promised his son's company 18 billion dollars with trillions of gold, so the latest pretend debacle of peace with India he is taking credit for is that, even though he had zero part to play in any diplomatic front, but this is this liar conman enriching himself again while people keep ignorantly singing his praises. Some of his instincts and stances on other issues are good, but project 2025 which he denied repeatedly knowing is precisely the agenda and he is just a liar.

People conveniently forget that Ukraine had 100,000 troops march towards Russia, they caught the Russians by surprise so president Putin sent 250,000 troops to the border cities nearby after declaring a national state of emergency. Then we all saw the tanks, light vehicles, logistics operations sending stuff to the border zone to repel enemy attack. This is directly what brought them to the UN and announce a special military operation to denazify them. But who started this? The United States of America. It killed 2-3 million Ukrainians, and maybe nearly 100k Russians. Facts.

All true. The delusion in the west, its clinging like a cat to the curtains of moral superiority, is a measure of arrogance and hubris. And the delusion is strong!

PS: keep an eye on the Baltic, that's where the NATO / Russia confrontation is likely to happen. The seizing of vessels is just the beginning. Hope some cool heads prevail.

100% Spot on, Mike. Also I heard [can't recall] either Sleboda or Ritter say that Trump was the one who changed the training of ZSU from defensive to offensive. And the NYT confirmed that the CIA built forward operating bases constructed along the Russian border. So, feel free to think of the US as a piss-poor negotiating partner. Because they are:

Is President Trump a narcissist? Few worse. Is President Trump a showman? One of the biggest. Does he brag about everything? Of course, that is who he is. But there is one thing about Trump that is irrefutable ... he gets things done. He has done more than ANY US president in the past. He makes no bones about it, he is doing what he does because he is trying to turn the country around. The swamp... he is cleaning it out. USAID (who funded so much of the US terrorism around the world --- is GONE). Fraud, corruption, crooked politicians --- they take awhile to get rid of. Like cockroaches, they are dug in. I ask this: what have YOU done in the last 6 months? If you are disappointed in President Trump, so be it. I wish he had cut off ALL military aid to Ukraine and the Mid-East. That will come. There WILL be a day when peace arrives, and I think it will be sooner than later. Something that NEVER would have happened if he had not become president. Even tho he seems a bit wacky at times, I count him as a blessing.

What is being addressed to Rubio refutes the claim that "getting rid of" USAID is anything else but reshuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.

"What have YOU done" is kinda a callow argument. Believe me, if I or someone like myself was in Trump's position, real shit would be happening: A China style massive 21st century infrastructure bill. A China style land giveaway & build more universities like they have. A jobs program similar to what Ike did building our freeways that cut poverty in HALF. Single payer, free public college, eliminate homelessness. Instead, his economic policies stand to make all of the above and more much much worse.

All they did was place USAID's operations under the State Dept. The US continues on with it's invasive, meddling ways. The amount DOGE claims it's saved the government is probably an exaggeration.

Trump and his MAGA cult followers are a victim of their own Groupthink.

Trump only listens to his inner circle of loyal lapdogs and billionaire parasites who come to Florida to cosy up to him in Mar-al- Lago.

Vance said the cold war is stupid - what I thought he meant was that the Washington neocons ideological war against Russia is stupid.

At the end Vance says, if 'they' cant settle it the US 'are out' (which is exactly what needs to happen for it to end).

Not that that is the bottom line - because they change the subtleties of their messaging depending on who's saying it and what day of the week it is. :/
